The 14-year-old road curb is being replaced with a natural stone curb

The 9.5 km road in the direction of the 20th and 32nd Committees of SHD, the intersection where the western provinces are separated from the Sonsgolong intersection, or formerly the 22nd Bureau, is being partially renovated. Specifically, in connection with the celebration of the National Day Festival, the base of the road was paved with asphalt concrete and will be reinforced with asphalt concrete again from July 15 to September 30. In doing so, the well cover of the road will be completed, new drainage pipes will be installed and the guardrail will be replaced. As of today, 40 percent of the road work is in progress. Citizens have criticized the replacement of undamaged road barriers on social networks. When the city's Road Development Department clarified this issue, it was explained that the road guard at the intersection is being replaced after 14 years.

B. Ganbat, senior specialist of the Metropolitan Road Development Department, said, "Concrete road barriers are used for 12-16 years. The curb on the road that we are renewing is 14 years old. We are replacing concrete railings with natural stone railings. Natural stone railings are durable and of good quality, so we are placing natural stone railings in several locations this year. We do not remove old stone railings. "It is used at the request of citizens and businesses."
